The award, which is part of STEP’s Employer Partnership Programme, is testament to the strength of the policies, practices and structures that the firm has in place, according to Wendy Holley, JTC’s Group Chief Operating Officer. ‘This supports a growing international private wealth offering, along with encouragement and opportunities provided to staff wishing to progress in their career,’ she said.

The ‘gold’ status has been awarded to JTC in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, BVI, Cayman Islands, Switzerland, USA, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand.

The STEP EPP, formerly known as the Employer Training Scheme, enables STEP to support the professional development of its members, by providing a structured support programme, online resources for professional development and networking opportunities, in order to enhance employers’ existing achievements.

Wendy Holley, group chief operating officer, commented on this recognition: ‘JTC depends on the professional capability of its employees and the success and growth of the business is directly linked to the investment made in professional qualifications.

The STEP Gold Employer Partner accreditation will allow enhancements to the personal development of many and we are incredibly proud to have been recognised for our efforts in attaining this accreditation.’

STEP’s head of Employer Partnerships, Jenni Hutchinson, said: ‘JTC has clearly demonstrated a solid commitment to providing their STEP staff with the best possible learning and development opportunities and, as a result, strengthening the overall financial services industry through high-quality, structured professional development.’
