The final body recovered from a fire that destroyed a farmhouse in Mid Wales has been identified as a four-year-old girl.
Gypsy Grey Raine died alongside four other children from the family – Just Raine, 11, Reef Raine, 10, Misty Raine, nine, and Patch Raine, six.
David Cuthbertson, 68, was also killed in the blaze at the remote property at Llangammarch Wells, Powys, on October 30 last year.
Detective Inspector Jacqui Lovatt, of Dyfed-Powys Police, told the hearing that the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
“On October 30, just after midnight, fire and rescue services attended Poityn Farm in Llangammarch Wells following reports of a fire,” she said.
“On arrival the farmhouse was ablaze. The farmhouse is known to be the home of David Cuthbertson and eight of his children who were in the building at the time of the fire.
“Three of the children managed to escape and alert neighbours.”
Recovery and identification of the bodies was carried out between November and December of last year.
Mr Cuthbertson, who was born in Scotland, was identified through DNA.
A pre-inquest review will be held in Welshpool, Mid Wales, on April 6.
