Senior political figures will join the family of murdered schoolboy Jimmy Mizen for a memorial to mark 10 years since his death.
A service is being held at St George’s Cathedral in Southwark on Thursday to commemorate the 16-year-old’s life.
He was killed when he was attacked with a glass bowl at a bakery in Lee, south east London, on May 10 2008, the day after his birthday.
They set up the charity For Jimmy, which supports community schemes for young people in a bid to stop crime.
