A man and woman who were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter over the death of a girl who was thrown from an inflatable trampoline have been released under police investigation.
Ava-May Littleboy, aged three, died in hospital after the incident at the beach in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, on July 1.
Police said witnesses to the incident reported hearing a “loud bang” before the inflatable “apparently burst”.
A post-mortem examination recorded that Ava-May died of a head injury.
In a tribute issued through police, Ava-May’s family said: “Her infectious laugh and smile could light up even the darkest of rooms.”
