In Pictures: Brits reach for parasols and head for shade on another blazing day

There were plenty more opportunities for Britons to bask in summer sunshine with no sign of any let-up in the glorious conditions.

Festival-goers sought a place in the shade at the Bestival event in Dorset with trees providing refuge from the sun.

Many strolled around London’s tourist sights while the capital’s parks and canals were also busy.
