A man has been charged after an attempted murder in Whitburn.
Police said a 21-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the incident, in which a 31-year-old man was struck by a car.
He was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries and subsequently released from hospital.
The incident happened at about 7pm on Saturday September 1 in Glebe Road at the junction with Jubilee Road.
The 21-year-old man is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A 47-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have been charged with allegedly attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The man is due in court on Thursday and the woman will appear at a later date.
