A man has been charged after the fatal stabbing of a man outside a house in North Lanarkshire.
Kevin McGuire suffered several stab wounds in Morar Street, Wishaw, in the early hours of Sunday.
The 51-year-old was taken by ambulance to Wishaw General Hospital, where he died.
Detectives launched a murder inquiry following the results of a post-mortem examination.
A man, aged 26, has been arrested and charged in connection with his death.
He is due to appear before Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A further man, aged 30, has been arrested in connection with the death and police say enquiries are ongoing.
