A man has been charged by police in connection with the death of a woman in the Falkirk area.
Officers found the body of the 44-year-old woman at a property in Carmuirs Avenue, Camelon, after they were called to reports of a disturbance.
Police, who were called to the scene at around 8.05pm on Tuesday, subsequently arrested a 56-year-old man.
He has now been charged over the incident and is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, officers have confirmed.
