Police have arrested a man after a woman was allegedly raped at knifepoint in Fife.
The attack happened near Laird Avenue in Methil at about 8pm on Tuesday.
The woman was allegedly threatened with a knife before being forced on to an area of wasteland.
A Police Scotland statement said: “Police in Fife have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a serious sexual assault that happened in Methil on Tuesday January 29.
“Inquiries remain ongoing.”
