Helicopters are being used to rescue more than 100 skiers who are stuck on a broken chairlift in central Austria.
Styria provincial police said Rosenkranz chairlift at Kreischberg mountain, north of Klagenfurt, stopped working because of technical problems, meaning 100 to 150 people had to be rescued.
Three helicopters, mountain rescue teams and other aid groups, are all said to be involved in the operation.
