FOOTBALL: The team from HSBC won the Le Tournoi men’s championship final held at Les Quennevais yesterday, beating Viberts 4-1.

Winners of the men’s plate were Voisin and Co who bet the JEP team 2-0.

Ladies championship winners were Ernst and Young who beat JP Morgan 2-0.

Richard Cornick was second (16, 37) and David Le Duc was third (19, 37).PETANQUE: Cynthia Michel, Margaret Stokes and Nancy Welsh beat Gwen Wheeler, Henny Prax and Mary Southwood in the final of the Ladies petanque triples championship yesterday, by 13 points to four.

The winning men were Fred Paisnel, Derek Hart and Tony Allchurch who beat Louie Bowen, Peter Guegan and Dave Blanchard 13-2.
