Paul Thomas Ryan (41) appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday and denied possessing five ounces of cannabis with intent to supply.Ryan was found by police on Sunday at the Beau Rivage Hotel with Ailsa Kate Chester (24), who pleaded not guilty to intending to supply cannabis and reserved her plea to possessing the drug.Police legal adviser Advocate Robin Morris told the court that the police had found the couple in possession of a ‘deal list’ with the names of prisoners on it.
He said: ‘They referred to people who were inmates at La Moye.
Ryan was on day release at the time.’The two accused were remanded in custody, Chester until her passport could be handed into the Viscount.
