Court head for home

For almost three years sessions have been held in the gymnasium of the former d’Hautrée School and the final court took place there on Friday.At the start of that hearing, Deputy Bailiff Michael Birt said that when the court had first moved to d’Hautrée there had been considerable foreboding, particularly from the legal profession, who considered that the location was a long way to travel to.Those doubts had quickly been laid to rest and apart from difficult acoustics the move had been an unqualified success.
