Escaped convict ‘may be in the UK’

Darren McCormack , aged 24 and originally from Glasgow, was still on the run this morning and could now have left the Island, the police admitted.P insp Bernie Noel said that the force had now notified UK forces of his disappearance.McCormack, who was jailed for six years in February for attacking another man with a broken bottle, had been let out on a supervised home visit to arrange his wedding planned for the end of the month.
