Appeal raises £48,000 in three weeks

Appeal chairman Robin Rumboll said this week that the committee were very encouraged by such a wonderful start to the fund-raising initiative.Very encouraging, too, was the number of offers from States departments, organisations, businesses and schools to organise fund-raising events.Those offers had followed the announcement that the GOSH Jersey Appeal would benefit from £50,000 of the funds raised in the 2004 Itex Round-the-Island Walk.
