This year Jersey Finance – which represents and promotes the industry abroad – will receive nearly £600,000, including £250,000 in infrastructure support and £336,000 for promotion.
In addition the industry itself contributes over £300,000 in membership fees.
Jersey Tourism will this year have a budget of £7.
million, over £5 million of which is earmarked for marketing and the remainder for staff and overheads.
Deputy Gerald Voisin, the president of Economic Development, said the figures had yet to be finalised.
