New appointments at the Judicial Greffe

Alan Le Bihan has been appointed Registrar of Deeds.

He takes over from Janine Hume, who resigned at the end of last year after 16 years of service.

Mr Le Bihan has worked at the Greffe as a proceedings officer in the Samedi Section since December 2002.

Prior to that he worked in the Law Officers’ Department as a conveyancing clerk.

Educated at De La Salle College, he was employed previously in the private sector.

Caroline Perry has been appointed as Assistant Judicial Greffier (Court of Appeal).

She will replace Barry Sergeant when he retires in June after 24 years of service.

Ms Perry has joined the Judicial Greffe from Ogier & Le Masurier where she was an information manager.

Educated at Jersey College for Girls, she holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the Open University.

She has worked mainly in the private sector both in Jersey and London.
