The girls played eight games in their section and won six to secure a place in the semi-finals, where they met Star A.
At the end of the first half Star were 3-1 up, but in the second half the girls worked hard to win the game 9-4 and go through to the final.
At the end of the first half Jersey were 5-3 down to New Campell, but after some words of encouragement they went back on court absolutely determined to win Working hard to the final whistle they didn’t allow their opponents to score at all in the second half, which lead to a deserved 8-5 victory.
Coach Lisa Bowman was very pleased with her squad’s performance.
‘We have been working hard for the last three months now and the squad really has developed in their skills and court play.
