Charlotte Church, Lee Ryan from boy band Blue and former A1 singer Ben Adams will not now be performing at La Hougue Farm, St Peter, the organisers have announced.
But former Take That singer Mark Owen has been confirmed and will perform alongside other big names such as former S Club Seven singer Rachel Stevens and Jersey’s own star, former Jersey College for Girls pupil Nerina Pallot.
X Factor finalist and former Happy Mondays backing vocalist Rowetta is also on the bill as are girl band the Faders and Soul Shaker.
Guernsey have scrapped the entrance fee and made the concert there open to all because of the pull-out.
Refunds have been offered by organisers, but with all profits going to Jersey Hospice and Child-Line, Channel 103 and Jersey Telecom are hoping the punters will not be put off.
