The MV Logos II has been visiting ports in Africa, the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe over the past 17 years and will visit the Island for the first time from 23 to 27 September.

She will be moored at the Victoria Pier opposite the St Helier Yacht Club during her stay.

Staffed by 200 volunteers from some 47 nations, the vessel will host an extensive family bookfair open to the public each day from about midday until 10 pm.

There are thousands of titles covering a range of subjects such as science, technology, sports, hobbies, cookery, the arts and Christian living.
