Dandara, who last year withdrew proposals for three towers on the Les Pas land in response to public opposition, have welcomed Peter Sandover’s suggestion for a single tall building up to 60 metres (197 feet) high.
Managing director Martin Clancy said: ‘The report basically verifies that the area we identified as being suitable for taller buildings is the right location and backs up the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment’s recommendations and the results of the public workshops which took place towards the end of last year.’
