Herm takes to the skies

G-HERM is a French-built 68-seat ATR turboprop which operates out of Coventry airport.

Air Atlantique’s chairman and chief executive, Jersey resident Mike Collett, said: ‘We’ve got into the habit of naming our aircraft after islands of the British Isles, providing they fit into the Civil Aviation Authority scheme of things by having a four-letter name which hasn’t been used before.

‘We just thought that Herm didn’t get really the publicity it deserves,’ he added.
