The survey, which was commissioned by the Economic Development Department and the Genuine Jersey Products Association, targeted more than 1,000 local shoppers at a variety of outlets around the Island.
Of those who responded, 92% said that seeing the Genuine Jersey logo encouraged them to buy the produce.
The survey also identified the reasons behind the shoppers’ decision.
It found that the quality of the produce was the most important factor, followed by the fact that it was local.
Price was the third factor on the list, while being organic was considered the least important reason.
