Café Rio has a winning formula

Three teams – from JCG, Hautlieu and De La Salle/Beaulieu – took up the challenge by the Image Group to devise a marketing campaign to launch a fictional Fair Trade coffee shop in St Helier.

Café Rio, entered by De La Salle and Beaulieu, was judged to be the winner by Education Minister Mike Vibert, George Robertson of Café Jacs and Image staff.

Deputy Andrew Lewis of the Image Group said: ‘We look forward to taking the Café Rio team with us to London where they will visit the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising, have lunch with the director general of the IPA and a tour of the world second’s largest marketing agency.
