The hotel has ‘adopted’ the six- to seven-year-olds in Year 2 in the hope of showing them what opportunities exist in the hospitality sector and giving them hands-on experience of what it is like working in a hotel.

The lessons aim to teach the children about the variety of jobs undertaken in a hotel, from that of the general manager to those of housekeepers and porters.

The children will also learn about the home-grown produce and the variety of wildlife and nature in the manor grounds.
