The Island’s Health Promotion Unit have been asked by Education to amend the UK survey, which asks 12- and 13-year-olds about their experience of various sexual practices including anal and oral sex, before it is circulated.
Although the survey was given a Jersey heading in preparation for distribution, both Health and Education are confident that no copies of the survey, which has been sent to all UK secondary schools, have reached local students.
Education said that secondary head teachers were concerned that the sex questions were inappropriate.
