He and some town Deputies are angry that the Council of Ministers decided last week to locate all three major operations of the Island’s £80 million Solid Waste Strategy – the new incinerator, composting facility and recycling centre – at the reclaimed site without consulting the parish or its elected representatives.
Mr Crowcroft intends to confront the council today.
He said the first he had heard of the decision, which has major infrastructure and health implications for Havre des Pas, was when he saw Friday’s Jersey Evening Post.
