The company will provide a passenger-only operation during the summer months and not a car ferry service.
Emeraude say the vessel to be used will be a high-speed catamaran with a cruising speed of over 28 knots.
It is understood the vessel will be capable of carrying over 300 passengers.
But as yet there are no schedules and no fares available.
