It can also be revealed today that Paisnel was accused of abducting and raping another woman he allegedly picked up from a bus stop in his car – a crime which mirrors the facts of the Hoeoek case.
The victim told the police it was the Beast who tied her up and raped her in a field in the early 1960s.
Unlike Miss Hoeoek, she managed to escape with her life.
The Jersey Evening Post has learned that Paisnel was charged with rape and grave and criminal assault in relation to this incident.
However, the charges were dropped before his Royal Court trial as a result of plea bargaining between defence and prosecution advocates – even though she was prepared to identify Paisnel from the witness box.
