million on turnover of £26.

million at the end of its first full year.

Mr Williams said the company had established a strong position within its specialised niche, with little debt and good cash flow, with encouraging progress in a number of important areas.

The company has brought together two existing businesses and acquired a third, Proactive Waste Solutions Ltd, for £8 million.

During 2006 the intention is to increase the types and volume of waste and open a purpose-built laboratory for testing material.

The AIM-listed company was established following legal changes in Europe and the UK.

However, it has taken some time to implement the changes although the Environment Agency is increasing efforts to stop hazardous waste, in particular contaminated soils, from being dumped in non-hazardous facilities.

St Martin resident Mr Williams is the former chairman of the Waste Recycling Group plc, which reached a market capitalisation of £550 million at its peak.

He is also chairman of Marwyn investment and private equity group and associated companies.
