The Irish presence has been established through a partnership with Pegasus, a niche corporate services provider.
The initiative will focus on administration services to institutional clients through Ogier Fiduciary Services (Ireland) Ltd, supported by the team in Jersey.
Ogier says the move is client-driven, with Ireland a popular jurisdiction for establishing capital markets structures.
In addition its status as a tax-efficient European Union country is likely to attract major European financial institutions.
Ogier partner and chief operating officer for fiduciary services, Paul Willing, said: ‘Ogier is a multi-jurisdictional firm and Dublin is often an essential component in many of the structures we administer, for example involving Cayman/Ireland/Jersey or Delaware/Ireland/Jersey vehicles.
‘This development is really in response to an increasing number of client requests for Irish resident structures.
