The Jersey Motor Cycle and Light Car Club event again attracted a large crowd to Bouley Bay and they were rewarded with two records.

Mick Bellée showed splendid form to lower his own Historic Bikes record from 54.19 seconds to 53.54, and club stalwart Ken Thomson broke a seven-year record in the Modified Production Sports up to 1400 cc class, cutting it from 47.76 to 47.39.

Karting ace Nigel Davis once again showed great skills to produce the overall fastest time of the day – 40.65.

Richard Twinam stopped the clock at 42.89 to take fastest time of the day in racing cars, while Bruce Dingle took the honours for the fastest time of the day on motorbikes with a 44.85.
