Natasha Kennedy broke the trust of three vulnerable people while working for the Cambrette nursing agency by falsifying 24 cheques to her own advantage, legal adviser Laurence O’Donnell told the court.
Kennedy (27), of de Quetteville Court, Ann Street, admitted forging the signature of Robert Eaton on 19 cheques totalling £3,681; the name of Leonard Pipon, and payment details, on three cheques amounting to £166; and falsifying the amounts on two cheques belonging to Caroline Le Mottée for £311.
The court followed a recommendation that Kennedy be put on probation for six months and also sentenced her to 150 hours’ community service.
She was also ordered to pay £2,079 compensation – half the total involved.
