The Foundation Partner of the Year award was presented to managing director Colin Le Conte by Jack Dangermond, the Bill Gates of the geographical information system world.
Digimap started in Guernsey but the Jersey company was set up after they tendered for and won the job of marketing the States’ Island digital mapping system just over a year ago.
The system was created using satellite information to produce electronic mapping which is accurate to within a few centimetres and is widely used by planners, architects and lawyers.
