Robyn Lapidus urged Economic Development Minister Philip Ozouf to find ways of cutting costs at the Island’s ports when making a speech at a dinner at the Living Legend last night.
He was addressing representatives of travel businesses responsible for delivering half of Jersey’s visitors who are in the Island for an event at which hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of business is done with local industry members.
Mr Lapidus said that politicians needed to realise how important tourism was for Jersey’s economy.
