The leaked confidential memo, from French nuclear power producers Electricité de France to a government nuclear watchdog, warns that the planned EPR power station on the Norman coast would be severely damaged or even completely destroyed in the event of a September 11 style hijacked plane attack and has been published on the internet by Greenpeace France and ecologist groups in Normandy.

The ominous document written in 2003 and sent by EDF to the Direction Generale de la Surété Nucleaire was first leaked by an unknown source to Stephane L’homme, who is a spokesman for the group Sortir du Nucleaire, an amalgam of 700 French anti-nuclear associations.
