They hope to introduce a twice-daily service from Jersey Airport in early 2007.
General manager Ian Taylor said that the new route would foster business between Jersey and Europe while also encouraging tourists from mainland Europe to visit the Island.
He said that it was hard for people wanting to visit Jersey from Germany, France and Belgium.
They had to drive all the way to St Malo to get the ferry.
And businessmen travelling to Europe from Jersey currently have to go via Gatwick.
