Locally-based online company Island Cosmetics went live last October supplying customers with cosmetics, skin care products and toiletries.
Directors Aaron Chatterley and Richard Schiessl recognised a niche in the market for an online cosmetics service, taking advantage of the fact that items priced less than £18 bought from Jersey-based online businesses are not liable for VAT.
