Senator calls for dairy to close down

He believes farmers should be allowed to produce and sell their own milk, and thinks plans to move Jersey Dairy to fields at Howard Davis Farm should be shelved and the whole site given to the Trust, then leased by the States.

He said: ‘Quite honestly I’d get rid of the dairy and allow a free market and farmers to be able to do like they do in England – to distribute and sell their own milk.’
