Hundreds joined the Biesiada – traditional folk fair – in the Royal Square to sing, dance and drink Polish-style.
The fair followed a piano recital on Friday night and was the warm-up to Saturday night’s fashion show and a vodka-soaked Polish pub night yesterday .
Festival chairman Marek Domanski said: ‘We have had six events so far and all of them have been very successful.
We were especially pleased that people were so enthusiastic about the piano recital.’ ‘We were lucky to have good weather on Saturday.
Many English people came to the fair to try Polish food and to enjoy the folk music and dancing.
What was really great was that so many people joined us in the celebration, so we were all singing and dancing together.’
