Jon Le Brun, who runs Les Mielles, said: ‘I am amazed.

Many of the players at the Jersey Chinese Golf Open were saying how much of a problem they had had getting their clubs across and were unhappy with the way they were dealt with in general.

‘If we are to become destination golf, we cannot continue with this situation in which people are making decisions on whether to come based on whether they can get their clubs over here.
