That figure includes paying the salaries, pensions and social security contributions of seven police officers and seven civilian staff.
Home Affairs Minister Wendy Kinnard was asked in the States last week how much suspended officers had been paid during the four-year period.
The figure she gave (£361,000) referred only to officers.
However, further investigation has revealed that the amount rises by £276,210 when civilian staff are included.
That figure breaks down to £86,450 in 2003, £164,813 in 2004, £20,801 in 2005 and £4,146 in 2006.
