The move makes Dawnay Day Milroy one of the largest independent investment managers in the offshore islands.
Robert Milroy, Paul Meader and Alison Brooks in Guernsey are joined in Jersey by investment managers David Le Cornu, Scott Kelly and St John Burke.
The firm focuses on providing an absolute return investment service to its clients, generating levels of return which, they say, have been at around 11% per annum over the last eight years.
Despite the recent slump in investment markets, DDM’s portfolios are presently reflecting year-to-date returns in excess of 5%, they say.
