And the minister will also be quizzed about the extent of her responsibilities for the States police during oral questions.

St Brelade Deputy Sarah Ferguson has tabled a 14-part written question that Senator Kinnard will have to answer.

In a previous States session, Deputy Ferguson asked questions about the costs and scope of the internal investigations.

But she later complained that the answers given by Senator Kinnard lacked detail and did not paint a complete picture of the reality.

Deputy Ferguson has asked the minister to give figures for the past four years of the costs of overtime incurred by the States police professional standards unit, together with the costs of additional uniformed officers or civilian staff involved in investigations.

She wants to know overtime costs for additional uniformed officers and civilian staff involved in investigations and also the bill for covering absences of suspended officers and civilian staff.

She has further asked for the cost of secondment of officers from other departments or the UK and wants information on the bill for any temporary or seconded staff brought in to cover suspensions.
