The Bath Street retailer launched a new website last week linking it with a Yamaha piano promotion.
The move follows a downturn in trading during the first quarter of this year, which proprietor Jonathan Scriven blames on the introduction of Itis pay-as-you-go income tax.
He said: ‘We are launching it with some very good introductory offers – it’s a field we thought we should break into.
As a retailer, you’ve always got to be looking for new angles.
‘The pay-as-you-go tax hit us – our cash sales were down by a half in the first quarter and overall takings fell by a third, although it has picked up since.
