The company’s profits have not yet been released but their new UK chairman, Mark Otty, has e-mailed all the firm’s 8,000 staff, including 60 in Jersey, offering them the time off as a thank-you for their hard work.
He said: ‘We have just received the firm’s annual results and they show we have achieved significant growth in the last 12 months.
We should be very proud – they are the output of all our hard work over the last year and by way of a thank-you we would like to give all our staff extra holiday.
The four days will include three which can be taken between Christmas and New Year.
The firm’s CI Human Resources manager, Tina Cottier, said: ‘We were over the moon when we heard the news.
It has come as a complete surprise and has certainly made our day.
It has been a particularly busy and hectic year and it is wonderful that this has been recongised and our staff rewarded.
It is understood that the Channel Islands operation has made a significant contribution to the company’s performance.
