To achieve the standard required firms must show a commitment to staff development, including a clear business plan, management support, recognition of the contribution made by the staff and encouragement to improve standards.
The staff must also understand the organisation’s aims and objectives.
Jersey Dairy employs 78 staff in all and passed the assessment first time, less than two years after signing up for the process.
