In conjunction with Family Nursing and Home Care and a number of other Island charities, non-profit-making organisations are being invited to take part in a six-month feasibility study to share ideas and costs, improve efficiency and create better awareness of their work.
The research is being carried out by the Voluntary Sector Steering Group, who hope to represent the agencies in the future and will also examine how creating a professional body could give the voluntary sector a voice.
