The Codes were first introduced in 2000.
These latest revisions are partly a response to recommendations by the International Monetary Fund, as well as from industry feedback and findings by the Commission staff carrying out site examinations.
Many of the drafting changes tighten the current wording and remove ambiguity and/or bring the code into line with existing legislation.
The trust industry is being asked to study the consultation paper and field their responses through Jersey Finance, by 15 November.
The full detail is on the website www.
rg and paper copies are also available from the Commission and Jersey Library.
