The move is part of the rationalisation of States departments.
Around 30 Harbour staff are due to join colleagues from Transport and Technical Services at Bellozanne.
However, one worker told the JEP that feelings are running high about the move from La Collette.
‘They’ll have to evict us when the time comes,’ he said.
Once they have gone, Jersey Harbours will look to make money from the building they will leave behind, with a lucrative lease to a fulfilment company among the possibilities being considered.
